SENIORS: Make sure to come to "I'm a Senior, Now What?" for you and your parents on Wednesday, September 8th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Library Media Center.  Mrs. Nevels will be presenting information on steps to applying to college, financial aid, ACT, using you're a+ benefits, scholarships, registration to play college sports, and more!  Very important info will be given, so please make sure to bring your parents to this event!  You don't want to miss this!!

 

MEETINGS:

  • Student Council: Meeting Wednesday and Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. in Mr. Caldwell's room.

 

PBS INCENTIVES: 

  • Our attendance ROCKS:  The class (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior) with the best attendance rate in September gets a free day of advisory with treats and outside games.
  • Tardy Free with Glee:  This Quarter, if you have a C or higher in all your classes, 96% attendance rate, and NO discipline issues, then you will be invited to go to the movies during school and will receive a reduced rate on the ticket.
  • Don't be Tardy for the Party:  Next week the goal is 30 tardies or less and 94% attendance.  If the school reaches that goal, you get to wear your PJ bottoms on Friday. 

 

MINUTE STOP: The Minute Stop student store is now open:

  • Daily 7:30-7:55 a.m.
  • During Advisory on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  (Students may come by with hall pass). 
  • After school 3:05-3:20 Monday through Thursday,

 

SENIORS:  Scholarships:

  • Missouri Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship is now available in the Career Center.  Applicants do not have to raise cattle, but must be a member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association or their parents must be a member of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association.  Due October 1st.
  • Hagan Scholarship Foundation application is now available at www.hsfmo.org.  Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA and must score 24 or higher on the ACT.  Due November 15th.

 

SPORTS:

  • Varsity Football at Knob Noster today starting at 7:00.  Bus leaves at 3:45.

 

SATURDAY:

  • Varsity Girls Tennis at Boonville starting at 9:00 a.m.  Bus leaves at 7:00 a.m.

 

NO SCHOOL MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH - LABOR DAY.  HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!
