ACT Testing
ACT Information
The ACT is an extremely important test for college-bound students. Often, a student's ACT score can make the difference in what college or university accepts that student, whether or not he or she receives a scholarship, and more. LHS is firmly committed to helping our students do their very best on the ACT by ensuring that classroom content is aligned to ACT standards. We also want both our students and their parents to be up-to-date on all ACT topics.
In order to keep up-to-date and to be prepared for the ACT, LHS recommends that potential test-takers spend a significant amount of time in test preparation. Much of that preparation comes in the LHS classrooms, but students can use the Learning Express Library from More.Net to take free sample tests. Click here for the link. Students can access this site only from a Lexington R-V School District computer.
Parents and students can keep current on ACT topics as well as college planning tips and hints by reading the ACT newsletter: News You Can Use. Each month the newsletter will be posted here in PDF format. Just click the links below.
